Egerton Physiotherapy is the “Data Controller” of your personal information. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us at info@egertonphysio.co.uk or 01298 601 600.

2. How We Collect Your Data

We do not host any data submission forms directly on our website servers. All online bookings, intake forms, and personal data submissions are handled directly by our third-party practice management software, Cliniko.

When you book an appointment or submit information through our website, you are inputting your data directly into Cliniko’s secure system.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

Through our Cliniko booking system, we only collect basic personal data required to manage your appointments, including:

  • Identity Data: First name, last name, and date of birth.
  • Contact Data: Email address and phone number.

Note: Any sensitive health data or clinical notes are taken securely in-person during your consultation and stored within your private medical record inside Cliniko.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the basic contact details you provide through Cliniko strictly to:

  • Confirm and manage your physiotherapy appointments.
  • Send you automated appointment reminders (via SMS or email).
  • Contact you regarding changes to your clinic schedule.

We do not use your data for marketing newsletters, and we will never sell or rent your information to third parties.

5. Data Security and Storage

Because your data goes directly into Cliniko, it is protected by industry-leading security measures:

  • All data transfers are fully encrypted using bank-grade SSL/HTTPS security.
  • Your data is stored in secure, GDPR-compliant data centres.
  • Cliniko acts as our Data Processor and is legally bound by a Data Processing Agreement to keep your data safe.

6. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your basic contact details (provided it does not conflict with our legal obligations to retain clinical records).
